Putting a new twist on an old technology, Hamburg based SkySails has produced (patent pending) a towing kite wind propulsion system for superyatchs and cargo vessels. A containership equipped with Skysails' humongous kite and navigation system can add an additional 4,000 horse power and slash fuel cost by to up 30 percent.
